Job Aids

Mortgage: HomeStyle Renovation Loans

Client: Processing Department at a mortgage company.

Problem: The HomeStyle Renovation Loan was re-introduced and needed a job aid to be written and training to be provided.

Solution/Background: I was assigned to process one of these loans and then requested by my manager to write the job aid and provide training. I researched the program, spoke to SMEs (sales - loan officers, construction team, underwriters), and put everything together in a job aid. I also put together a PowerPoint presentation that provided the step-by-step training. These two documents were sent out to the entire processing team after they were reviewed and approved by management.

Mortgage: Funder & Closer Procedure

Client: Funders and Doc Drawers (Closers) at a mortgage company that closed in summer 2021.

Problem: New and current Funders and Closers needed training quickly, however, all training was done by Microsoft Teams & phone without any written materials. Many team members needed written procedures in order to do their jobs properly.

Solution/Background: After I was promoted to Doc Drawer (Closer), I put together training materials and job aids detailing the procedures of each department. These documents were sent out to both the Funding and Closing departments.
